DEDOLIGHT OPTICS FOR PROLYCHT ORION SERIES

Winner of several Technical Academy Awards, Dedolight is renown for its mastery of optics and ingenious mechanisms to optimize both output and quality.  Traditionally, professional lights start with a single color minuscule source: a tungsten filament, a high-discharge arc etc. Imagine the endeavor of designing precision optics for a 6-color COB that is over 1.5" x 1.5" in size and fixed to the housing front... That is exactly the challenge Dedolight has met designing high performance optics for the Orion 300 FS and Orion 675 FS flood lights. And this is no accident...

Appreciative of the Orion's color management, for the first time dedolight has designed and manufactured optics for another manufacturer's lights: The Prolycht Orion 675 FS and 300 FS - and with a Bowens Mount.

From its end, Prolycht has improved the Bowens mount on its 675 FS unit with its proprietary "ProLock" mechanism to be compatible with Dedo's heavier, high-end optics. This modified mount on the 675 FS does not have any play so that the front-end accessories stay perfectly in place and do not droop nor wobble.  This ensures that the optical center of Dedo's accessories remain precisely in line with Prolycht's COB light source. Even without the ProLock on current 300 FS models, the accessories are still compatible.

The new line of Dedo's optics for the Orion series includes 4 staples of Dedolight optics: An adaptation of the DP400 projector with 2 variations for regular focal or wide angle lenses, a 1:4 Zoom lens from Spot (300 FS: 8.5º or 675 FS: 6.9º) to Flood (300 FS: 36º or 675 FS: 33º), a Wide-angle Adapter (extends the 300 FS native flood from 50º  to 80º) and a compact Parallel Beam Intensifier ideal for Reflective light.
