If you love the character of tungsten light, there is still no substitute for an incandescent source, even in the age of LEDs. If you really love the uniqueness of tungsten light, you might decide to scrim the DLH652T or choose a bulb with lower lumen rating rather than dimming it down. The DLH652T is designed for this level of demanding work. If you cherish its beautiful beam but want control convenience, the DLH652T-DMX is your best fit. Both DLH652T models (with or without DMX) are extremely versatile, operating between 100-240VAC, with a choice of 650w, 500w or 300w lamps. These new dedolight tungsten heads are stand-alone AC power (no ballast required) delivering a superior beam quality and unrivaled focus range. If you are a Dedo 150w Classic user, you can imagine what its larger brother capacities are. Still, the DLH652T is the middle sibling of the dedolight tungsten family (the most powerful is the DLH1000T, 1000w). This is the reference light source every new fixture tries to match on a spectrum analyzer.

If you are a proud owner of a DLH400DT, the DLH652T light is its perfect tungsten companion: both use the same A-size accessories, including the DPBA-14 (65% more light), DPBA-1419 (320% more light = 1952fc at 12ft) and of course the DP400 projection system.

The DLH652T, tungsten focusing light head by dedolight is very elegant. Like all its relatives, its patented double aspheric lensing outputs the cleanest and most controllable beam available today. Most are not used to the variety of set-ups this popular light head size can achieve without additional accessories. This light has a native flood to spot range of 56°- 8°, and a focal intensity ratio of 1:13. But you can shift the range to 56º-88º just by dropping in front the Wide-angle beam spreader (DLWA400R); 8º to 88º with a single drop-in attachment. In its native 8º super-spot, it is a great choice to work with the Lightstream collection of reflectors. Three halogen lamps are available to modulate the output: 300w, 500w or 650w, along with a set of scrims that includes a graduated one. Both the DMX and non-DMX versions have built-in AC cable terminating with a bulkhead connector.  The sets include a bulkhead to 3-prong AC extension cable with inline on/off switch (DCAB3A-SW-U). The DMX version (DLH652T-DMX) in addition can be dimmed manually or via DMX from the electronic module built to the side of the body. Beyond the native light capacities there is an entire world of optional attachments (A-size). Try the DP400 projector, or the DPBA-1419 Intensifier (320% output increase at a tight 8º spot).

The DLH652 (DMX and non-DMX) do not need a ballast. They pull only 6 Amp at 120v. They have a 1' built-in AC cable with a bulkhead connector (not a NEMA 5-15) to pack as compact and lightweight as possible. The included detachable extension/adapter cable (bulkhead to regular AC NEMA 3-prong) plugs into a regular house outlet. For the DLH652T (non-DMX) we recommend two completely silent professional dimmers to operate under the safest conditions:
