Ask any Classic DLH4 user how they feel about their "dedos" and you'll get roughly the same response; "I love them, had them for years, and I bring my personal kit on every job". Perfectly Versatile.

Dedo users have come to know what a truly clean-beam looks like coming out of a dedolight. All across the beam, you can expect perfection. Still using dual aspheric lensing, a fundamental trait of the Classic DLH4 that made dedolight the leader in precision lighting, the LED family of focusing lights carries this tradition and expectation of unmatched quality. A result of Dedolight unique lensing is the level of optimization one can achieve in a very small footprint. Traditionally, small fresnel studio lights offer a focusing ratio of roughly 1:3. Some larger studio fixtures can reach ratios of 1:6. Dedolights reach an insane range of 1:25 (referring to the change of light intensity when focusing from flood to spot). In the meantime, the variation of exit angle goes from 60° to 4° spreads (looks at each light specs. for exact range). This kind of result is not obtainable by any other focusing lights on the market, especially LED fixtures, even when adding expensive and time-killing attachments. Add a single wide-angle lens on a Dedo DLED takes the focusing range to an astonishing 1:55 ratio, and the native exit angle from 4° to almost 90°.  You may have heard of optical attachments like this for cameras, but nobody has ever built anything like it for lights... except Dedolight.

Dedolight DLEDs are manufactured to last forever.  The heads are built of steel and machined cast-iron.  The front lens is recessed into the body to protect the optics. The ballasts are made of extruded aluminum and are indestructible.  Finally when after years of good service the LED output declines noticeably, call Dedolight service to replace the LED array rather than buying a whole new fixture.
