Dedocolor Matrix8 and Matrix18 fixtures are not COB based. They are built with today's most advanced light engine technology in professional lighting. The foundational force driving the OCE, our Optical Color Engine, is a multi-channel, matrix-style LED system that builds light the way nature does: one wavelength at a time.
By combining RGBACL+Ter (tertiary) LEDs with optical precision, Dedocolor’s OCE recreates the natural complexity of color - billions of shades, shaped at the source. OCE delivers unmatched color fidelity, rich saturation, with nearly double the output of comparable wattage full-spectrum lights. Dedocolor phosphor-free technology achieves great spectral stability that will not deteriorate over time. Micro-lenses and light guides at the source deliver clean rays to create the crisp shadows professionals demand. Combine the beauty and sharpness of OCE with Dedolight’s legendary beam control, and you don’t just shape light - you sculpt color itself.
The multi-channel OCE Matrix engine offers spectral control far beyond 5-channel RGBWW, and RGBACL or other 6-channel fixtures. The additional diodes move beyond conventional primary and secondary colors' boundaries into the tertiary spectrum, eliminating spiky mixes, gaps in skin tones, and muted saturation in vibrant colors.
Dedocolors are built to last in even the toughest of rental environments. The Matrix8 and Matrix18 mounts and backs are built from steel and aluminum, offering rigid support to the accessories, including the DP400 projector with the heaviest 70mm lens (11.5 lbs). The sides are made from extruded 6063 aluminum that is particularly desirable for heat dissipation.
Longevity and color accuracy of the diodes are protected by the latest thermal exchange design. The full copper heatsink plates and heatpipes deliver 40% more heat dissipation than less expensive aluminum. The integration of phosphor-free diodes not only preserves our color accuracy but also reduces the heat generated by the Stokes shift, further extending the true operating life of these fixtures.

The DLWAR400-P Wide Angle lens with rotating barn doors allows for clean cuts of any shape without fringing. This accessory features an optical glass lens to further spread and even off the native beam intensity from edge to edge. While very compact, the DLWAR400-P flags without fringing, even in the white light spaces. Its doors are only 4" deep, which is 1/3 of the size of a typical color light fresnel with barn doors. |

Dramatically increase your output with the DPBA-1419-P Parallel Beam Intensifier (glass lens). Whether you want brute output power or a source for reflected light, this is a great add-on to the dedocolor. The DPBA-1419 warps the native light into a 10° spot with upwards of 675% more output to bounce and reflect with. We recommend the honeycomb attachment for direct use. |

This optical 3.75x ZOOM glass lens has a wider range than any adjustable fresnel on the market today. The DZOOM-P focuses the light beam from 30° down to a tighter 8°. At 8° it becomes a Beam Intensifier (850% more output). This x3.5 zoom requires a honeycomb (15% light loss) for most situations, except bouncing and reflecting. |

Quite possibly the most famous of dedolight optics, the DP400 projector works with various set ups including gobos, shutter blades, iris and wide angle configurations. Used to make perfect cuts without fringing, the projector uses 5 interchangeable lenses as tight as 230mm (smallest imaging with brighter output), to the massive 70mm wide angle lens (wide angle configuration), there is an abundance of ways to control light with these units. |
