We're very excited to unveil the dedolight NEO three DLED7N-BI "Plus" light sets in a new configuration: "The Gaffer's Kit". This kit contains a robust system of lights and popular accessories packed into a custom case curated by the Dedolight California team. This kit consists of three complete DLED7N-BI bi-color 80w light sets with DTneo+ wireless control ballasts. To expanded creative possibilities, the kit includes essential accessories like the famous DP1.2 imaging projector and useful add-ons: the IRIS, Framing Shutter Leaves and the subtle DPEYESET edge softener. The indispensable mini soft-boxes with grids and baffles round-up the Gaffer's kit. This kit trims out the stands and miscellaneous grip gear typically found in classic "Master" dedolight kits. If you won't miss these items then this kit is for you. Light stands and other accessories can be ordered "a la carte".

The dedolight NEO DLED7N-BI is a perfect balance of output strength and control. This light is constantly consuming 80w of power from the DTneo ballast and alternating between two 80w diode sets (tungsten and daylight) in its array. This means no matter what color diodes are on at any given time the light is always giving you what you've paid for: not 40w on one color and 40w on the other, but 80w on each. You might have experienced open-faced LED lights requiring the addition of a reflector to get a simple fixed beam angle and size. Dedolight LED focusing lights are not that. Out of the box the light has a manual focusing range of 60°- 6° (1:10 light ratio) without accessories. Based on this alone dedolights are in a class of their own. If you know the DLED7 series well, the new dedolight NEO DLED7N has the same beam quality and output from its predecessor. The main differences with dedolight Neo is in the modification of the back casing further reduce light leaks. The head cable connector is relocated to the bottom of the housing. This redesign makes what was already a compact light an incredible 30% shorter in length. The DLED7N head fits the same accessories (M size) as the Classic 100/150W dedolight DLH4, DLHM4-300 and DLH200 200W HMI.
Double the output in CCT ranges, broader focusing range and better shadows when compared to a full spectrum light head.

This is where the dedolight NEO series truly separates itself from its predecessor. Gone are the days when you had to choose between an AC, DC or AC+ DMX ballast from the previous DLED series. The DTneo, and DTneo+ (wireless option) deliver all the functions you hoped for in a single ballast, and much more. DMX is a standard feature to all DTNeo ballasts. As for powering options, the DTneo has a V-mount socket and an optional 15v AC/DC snap-on adapter disguised in a V-mount battery shell. Use the simple turn/push knob and menu display on the OLED screen to select between a deep, smooth "linear" or "exponential" dimming curve, and seamlessly change color down even at the lowest output settings (0.1 to 100% dimming range). Take advantage of 1000 point 8-bit linear, or 16-bit advanced control (via DMX/RDM protocol). The High-Speed setting allows to shoot flicker-free up to 50,000fps. The DTneo ballasts have an auto-detect feature to recognize and drive all the upcoming DLEDNeo light heads between 20w-80w. That's not a typo. If you wish to invest for the future, the upcoming DLED3Neo unit, the DLED7Neo Infra-red, Ultra-Violet and even the future generations of DLED7Neo, the DTneo commands them all, up to the Neo DLED9. To put it simply, the DTNeo ballast opens the world to an entire new generation of light heads, and the DLED7N-BI leads the party.
With the "DTneo+" version of the ballast you are unlocking the ability to use wireless control via CRMX LumenRadio and Bluetooth.
Photometrics of the DLED7-BI are identical to the DLED7N-BI light head.

[/TABS]Do the 3x DLED7N-BI combined with the 3x DTneo+ - DC provide flicker free dimming at 1000 fps on Phantom Flex 4K? If so, can it dim flicker free from 0% to 100% or is the intensity limited to a certain dimming value, such as 50%?
Hello - the Neo bi-color lights can be put into a "flicker-free" mode for speeds of up to 50,000 fps. When using this mode however, the output level is locked at 100% and the color range is tunable from 3200k-5500k (future software versions might enhance this). I recommend using a filter or scrim to bring down the intensity for your purposes!
