DLED3N-UV365 - Dedicated Ultraviolet 365nm LED Light Head

The Dedolight NEO DLED3N-UV365 specialty light head is built with a dedicated 365nm ultraviolet emission specifically. It is a tiny light head (17.6oz) with the maximum amount of diodes for robust output. Three variations of specialty spectrum of DLED3N models can easily fit into a carry-on bag with their DTneo ballasts. Like its predecessor, the DLED3-UV365, this light draws a constant 40W of power from the DTneo ballast to power the diodes. Just because this light head is specialty doesn't mean it changes is natural focusing ability from 5° spot to 50° flood. The focusing range offers a wide mW/cm² ratio in various flood/spot positions. The light delivers the maximum emission offered in its power rating and class and is therefor actively cooled. Wether the light is being used for forensics/medical and scientific purposes, or for specialty photography and black light work, some UV protection is recommended (eyes and skin coverage). The updated NEO 3 housing has a pigtail head cable connector, and is compatible with all "S" size accessories from the DLED2 and DLED3 series.

Unlike open-faced LED lights that require beam-shaping accessories to get a fixed beam angle, Dedolight LED focusing lights provide a manual focusing range of 50° to 5° (1:10 ratio) straight out of the box. The new NEO 3 housing has a pigtail head cable connector, and is compatible with all "S" size accessories from the DLED2 and DLED3 series.

Difference Between DLED2N and DLED3N

Both the DLED2N and DLED3N light heads share the same housing and operate with DTneo or DTneo+ ballasts, using the same accessories. The difference lies in the power output: the DLED2N is a 20W light head, while the DLED3N is 40W. The DLED3N generates more heat with more diodes added making it an actively cooled light. While nearly silent, the larger COB results in more punch. The DLED2N, on the other hand, offers a bit more optimization on the beam side and longer use in a DC setup.

DTneo Ballast

The DTneo series simplifies control compared to the previous DT3 series. The DTneo and DTneo+ ballasts offer AC/DC operation, a V-mount plate for battery use, and DMX as a standard feature. The optional AC adapter electronics are housed in a snap-on V-mount battery shell.

The beauty in the DTneo is its auto-detection of which Neo light head model its connected to. If connected to a mono or bi-color light, if identifies the necessary controls and presents them to the user. Use the push/turn knob and OLED display to select between linear or exponential dimming curves, or change color seamlessly without drifting—even at very low dimming levels (0.1 to 100% dimming range). Choose between 8-bit linear or 16-bit advanced control via DMX/RDM protocol, and shoot up to 50,000 fps flicker-free using the high-speed setting. The DTneo ballast is future-proof, with user-upgradable software via USB, and can drive all Neo light heads from 20W to 90W, offering versatile control across the product line.

The DTneo+ ballast supports wireless control via CRMX LumenRadio and Bluetooth.
