This is the magnificent 7', 1000w LED bi-color Ledraptor7 dedicated soft light set. It's the largest of dedolight's "Turbo" engineered soft light models built to create a skylight where it never existed, or be as subtle as the first presence of morning light before the sun rises. We call dedolight Ledraptors "portable windows" for providing a gorgeous diffused light with an embracing quality which wraps around objects like a warm hug. Like any dedicated soft light should be, there are no hotspots along the massive 7' front diffuser. The Ledraptor7 has a total of eight diode sets in four separate arrays. Each array is getting a constant 220w of power so regardless of what diodes are active between the optional 2700K - 6500K color range you are getting what you paid for here (not 500w of one color, and 500w of another). Based on that engineering, we call this power system a "4x 2x 220w" light. What this does is make certain that when you want the tungsten side of color, you won't see a dramatic dip in output. No skimping allowed.

ABOUT LEDRAPTOR SOFT LIGHTS

A soft light should embrace and not punch. It's our opinion that if soft light is what you want, then a dedicated system to do just that is what you should use. The Ledraptor series of soft lights are engineered specifically for pushing light to the outer edges of the dome. That's why our soft lights have 225% more light on the outside edges than the competition. They are built to travel (recommend adding the optional cases) and take under 5 minutes to fully assemble without practice (our record for the 7' model is under a 80 seconds). The octodome textile reflector has two optional diffusion layers (inner baffle and front diffuser), and is wide and shallow allowing rigging in tighter locations. The 7ft system fully deployed is only 64" deep (front to back of the fixture). Try these lights out and you'll see why we call them our "portable windows".
