This is a 19" long (between eyelets), black, anti-glare, certified safety cable "rope" sling made from 1/8" wire rope (7x19). This is not your "garage-made" cable. Made by studio rigging specialists Jack Rubin & Sons, the certification requires each cable to be individually tested for a Safe Working Load (0.19 vertical, minimum 300 lbs). A sling carrying a certification tag is individually tested to a load of twice its rated capacity in straight pull. All our slings come with their certification tag to attest that each of them has actually sustained a load of twice its Rated Capacity.
Each unit comes with its certification tag and includes a black 1/4" quick-link.
These slings work very well with Lightstream reflectors in 50cm, 25cm and 12x15cm size, all of which have a small hole in one corner to attach the quick link. The black wire-rope cable and eyelets do not interfere with the reflected light.
