The 25x25 and 50x50 Lightstream reflectors are now delivered in ProCali version, exclusively in the USA. We've added industrial-grade rubber edges to protect the sides from impacts. In addition, the medium hard rubber provides a positive surface while handling the reflector. This greatly reduces, and even eliminates fingerprints so that the reflectors stay clean even after weeks of work.
#5 surface Lightstream reflector in the 25x25cm size. Lightstream reflectors are the newest surface in the reflector family that reshapes the host beam into a very narrow strip of light, much narrower than the anamorphic ratio. This light sculpting is traditionally done with barn-doors or flag, but these tools waste the light that hits them. In addition with reflected light, the nature of the beam and control over the edges is very different. The beam from #5 drops off wider/longer than doors would achieve. The #5 is particularly useful to light a staircase, a doorway, corridor, tunnel or get the "beam-me up Scotty effect" from above. Note that results from lights without narrow spot beams vary unpredictably. For controlled, systematic and maximum results, use a dedolight with Parallel Beam Intensifier. All Lightstream reflector boards transfer over 95% of the total lumens generated from its light source. The back of Lighstream reflectors feature a dove-tail (sliding rail) to mount with the all-aluminum DLR-LOCK (baby receptacle), DLR-LOCK-M (baby pin) or DLR-MLOCK motorized mount.
