The Dedocolor 800w Matrix8™ is not COB based. Dedocolor multichannel lights are the most advanced full spectrum fixtures on the market today. Built for discerning Film and TV professionals, the 800w Dedocolor Matrix8™ moves the goalposts ahead with its proprietary multichannel Optical Color Engine (OCE). The OCE technology features RGBACL+Ter (tertiary) chips organized in a matrix-style layout. The LEDs work symbiotically with a unique lensing and light guides system capable of blending any color homogeneously. The Dedocolor Matrix8™ has an unparalleled wide gamut using the multichannel R+G+B+A+C+L+Ter "OCE" Optical Color Engine with diodes matrix structure to deliver true spectral clarity and faithful skin reproduction at all color temperatures.
To date, the Matrix8™ and Matrix18™ are the only large multicolor LED fixtures to produce crisp shadows with no color fringing.
The Matrix8™ can be controlled on-board locally or via the free iOS/Android App. It also features DMX, LumenRadio CRMX, Art-net and Bluetooth mesh connectivity.
It can be accessorized with a fresnel variable lens as well as the "A" size series dedolight optics with Bowens S mount adapters.
