This promo is a single light head set of a DLH4 Classic offered with the new DT24-SEL selectable control ballast by ProCali. Like the DT24-1, the DT24-SEL allows for perfectly smooth dimming from %0 to %100 locally, but can also be switched to direct AC control for use with external dimmers like DMX-able power packs. The DLH4SEL-SET also includes basic accessories to manage light and transport it safely.

The Classic DLH4 is one of the most famous lighting devices ever made. With a 40-year history in the professional lighting industry, this light has proven time and again how far you can take precision lighting using dedo's patented aspheric optics. It is a source of pride for many gaffers who take their personal "Dedo's" on every shoot regardless of what's on the shot list. There is still no other system that can compare to its performance in this class. The optics produce an homogenous clean beam, with a minimal amount of drop-off at its edge. There is light where you want it, and outside of the beam there is shadow where you want it.

The light is nearly indestructible, easy to service, and has an army of amazing accessories to redefine its function from one job to the next. Whether you need a compact light with tremendous throw, or a pinhead spot on a label (with its projector), the Dedo Classics deliver it all. If you haven't been lucky enough to get to know one of these lights yet, don't let the nickname "Classic" fool you. DLH4s can now be used with DMX ballasts, Lightstream Intensifiers, Wide-Angle Adapters and of course DP1 and DP2 Projectors. It is a beautiful tungsten source that can be changed to daylight by dropping in its conversion filter. There are many reasons why this is still one of the most used lights on sets worldwide. 

THE DT24-SEL BALLAST

The DT24-SEL is the updated version of the Classic DT24-1U ballast, combining smooth manual control of the light intensity with the option to bypass its built-in dimmer for external AC dimming. Bypassing the Internal dimmer prevents the instability that occurs when two dimmers share the same power line. The Internal dimmer uses an ergonomic aluminum control knob and provides perfectly smooth adjustment from 0–100% with no stepping.

When switched to External, the DT24-SEL is optimized for use with AC dimmer packs or DMX-controlled power systems, and the full output level is increased by approximately 10%.

The DT24-SEL 24 V / 150 W AC ballast is designed to power and control Classic 150 W dedolight fixtures such as the DLH3, DLH4 focusing lights, and the DLH1x150S soft light. This ballast is manufactured in a compact, durable solid-aluminum housing andbuilt for rugged, maintenance-free performance. An aircraft-grade steel loop allows quick and secure attachment. The unit can be equipped with the optional DTHVM stand bracket, providing secure mounting and comfortable operation on a stand or pipe.
