With 100% resolution of shadow lines, artists can place light with exact precision, then soften the edges at will for a more natural fall-off, achieved with the DPEYESET rather than pulling the lens out of focus. The DP2.2-MNPL can be used to create perfect geometric shapes, subtly highlight a specific part of a subject, or produce a flawless kicker or hair light that starts and stops exactly where you want it to. The DP2.2 will hold focus whether the subject is 10ft or 10" away from, allowing magnificent Macro work.

All of this can be achieved in seconds—without the need for additional grip gear. Thanks to its integrated keystone correction knob you can also adjust the image plane when the light is set at an angle.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

DPEYESET - The DPEYESET softener fits the front of most lenses to control shadows fall-off with amazing results. The filters (#1 through #3) are not harsh like Hampshire or Frost papers; they allow the shape of your projection to hold while only affecting the edges fall-off.  It is a much more natural and graceful effect than pulling the lens out of focus.  Use the DPEYESET and the Framing Leaves to recreate the masters' lighting of the eyes of movie stars during Hollywood Golden Era.

LENSES - 8 Lenses to fit any situation:  The DP2.2-MNPL ships with the most popular 85mm* lens.  5 additional Primes are available: 30mm, 50mm, 60mm* 150mm, 185mm*.  Plus 2 Zooms:  70-120mm* & 85-150mm.  Obviously, the primes have more punch, but the zooms provide quick resizing of the projection without relighting.  The zooms are time-savers when unexpected changes happen or when re-arranging the positions of several stands is unpractical.

Dedolight has always been committed to making the finest tools to shape light. This means perfect, homogenous light and absolute shadow exactly where you want. Most imaging projectors, be they gobos, Irises or shutters, cannot seem to get rid of chromatic aberrations surrounding edges and warping the light beam. In this regard they simply cannot cut perfectly the edges of shapes. 

This is where the Dedolight projection system excels: if perfect homogenous light all the way from edge to edge is something you want, then this is your system. If absolute resolution and focussing your shape on a product label or on a door is something you need, then this is your system. If you need to work faster and get rid of tools to set-up your imager on the light, then this is your system.  It all boils down to a tremendous flexibility to achieve your creative vision within the least amount of time, space and gripping. If you must produce the highest quality shutter-work on set, add the DP2 to your toolkit. Seems like a no-brainer, and once you see it for yourself we doubt you'll disagree.

LENSES

Select additional lenses and expand your ability to change the image size or exposure without relighting. These lenses work with the standard Dedo DP1S, DP1S-A, DP2S, DP1, DP2 projectors.  Lenses with a * are compatible with the DPEYESET. The adapter changes the angles of exit by a few degrees from information published elsewhere.  Specs measured on the Aputure® 80C set to 100% output, 5600K at 1 meter.
