M22C Max Full-Color Inflatable Soft Light

The smallest of the square form factors, the M22C Max is a 2 ft x 2 ft full-color inflatable fixture designed for fast setup, lightweight rigging, and smooth soft-light output in a compact square format. With an actual inflated size of 66 x 61 x 15 cm (26 x 24 x 5.9 in), it creates a broad, soft source especially useful for key light, fill light, beauty lighting, tabletop work, product lighting, interviews, and compact studio environments.

The M22C Max incorporates a sophisticated RGBWY full-spectrum color engine with continuous CCT adjustment from 1700K to 20000K, extended x,y chromaticity control, calibrated G/M adjustment (±100), HSI color mixing, and more than 600 digital color filters. Engineered for cinematic color reproduction, it delivers TLCI 98, CRI 96, TM-30 Rf 93 / Rg 101, SSI 84T / 73D, exceptional skin-tone rendering across R9 (90), R13 (94), and R15 (95), and calibrated white-light performance with Δuv -0.0004 for precise fixture matching. 

The M22C Max delivers 100W of output in a lightweight square format, making it well suited for close-proximity soft light, small studio setups, location work, RGB effects, and coordinated multi-fixture environments. Look at the 2 larger squares for broader coverage: M44C Max (4ft x 4ft) and the imposing M88C Max (8ft x 8ft).

About the Air Lux MAX Series

The Pheon Lux M22C Max is part of the Air Lux Max Series, a family of full-color inflatable LED soft lights designed for professional film, broadcast, studio, and location production. Combining a lightweight air-cushion structure with advanced color control, the Max Series delivers a large soft source that deploys quickly, adapts easily to space-limited environments, integrates into modern wired and wireless workflows, and packs compactly for transport.

The Air Lux Max series packs all the advanced functions expected on professional lights: pixel-mapping workflows, multi-zone DMX personalities, CRMX synchronization, and advanced color-management tools.  This Series is designed for modern cinema, broadcast, virtual production, and effects-driven lighting environments.

With full-spectrum RGBWW color mixing, continuous CCT adjustment, green/magenta correction, x,y color control, dynamic multi-pixel effects, and support for professional wired and wireless control protocols, the Air Lux Max Series is designed not only as a soft-light platform, but as a coordinated lighting ecosystem.

Pheon Lux fixtures are engineered for creating large-scale synchronized lighting environments where multiple fixtures can operate as a unified system. APPLICATIONS

The format and scale of the M22C Max is especially effective for compact key light, fill light, beauty lighting, portrait lighting, tabletop lighting, product work, interview setups, small set work, RGB effects, and location production where fast setup and low fixture weight are important.

Passive cooling allows silent operation with no internal fixture fans, making the fixture suitable for interviews, narrative production, sound-sensitive environments, and close-proximity placement near talent without introducing unwanted noise.

The inflatable air-cushion design allows large-format fixtures to pack significantly smaller than traditional framed soft sources, making them easier to transport, rig, and deploy while maintaining broad, soft illumination characteristics.

Beyond functioning as large-format soft lighting, Pheon Lux fixtures are designed for coordinated multi-fixture environments where multiple lights can function as a single dynamic lighting system. Multi-pixel functionality allows preset or custom animated effects to span multiple fixtures simultaneously, enabling synchronized motion effects, environmental simulations, animated backgrounds, stage effects, and large-scale color sequences.

SPECIFICATIONS

CONTROL & POWER

The M22C Max supports a professional cross-protocol control environment for both simple standalone operation and advanced multi-fixture workflows. Control options include the Pheon Link app, local controller, CRMX, Wi-Fi, wired/wireless DMX512, and 2.4G wireless control, allowing the fixture to integrate with a wide range of production environments.

For console-based control, DMX512 and CRMX support allow the fixture to be used in professional studio, broadcast, live production, and virtual production environments. CRMX provides wireless DMX control when cable runs are not practical, while app-based control allows fast setup and adjustment during smaller productions or location work.

The Max Series also includes XY-axis color adjustment, green/magenta correction, full-color control, grouping control, and built-in dynamic effects. These functions make the fixture useful not only as a soft source, but also as a creative color tool for effects, ambience, background color, and synchronized multi-light environments.

The M22C Max operates from AC 100V–240V or DC 14.8V–26V power. Confirm battery compatibility and power accessories before ordering.
