M44C Max Full-Color Inflatable Soft Light

The M44C Max is a 4 ft x 4 ft full-color inflatable fixture designed for fast setup, lightweight rigging, and smooth soft-light output across a large square surface. With an actual inflated size of 117 × 114 × 15 cm (46.1 × 44.9 × 5.9 in), it creates a broad soft source that is well suited for key lighting, beauty lighting, interviews, portrait work, overhead fill, and studio environments requiring larger soft coverage.

The M44C Max incorporates a sophisticated RGBWY full-spectrum color engine with continuous CCT adjustment from 1700K to 20000K, extended x,y chromaticity control, calibrated G/M adjustment (±100), HSI color mixing, and more than 600 digital color filters. Engineered for cinematic color reproduction, it delivers TLCI 98, CRI 95, TM-30 Rf 93 / Rg 101, SSI 85T / 74D, exceptional skin-tone rendering across R9 (93), R13 (95), and R15 (94), and calibrated white-light performance with Δuv -0.0006 for precise fixture matching. 

The M44C Max delivers 400W of output in what can be considered an entry-level large-format fixture within the Air Lux Max family. It provides substantial soft-light coverage while remaining significantly lighter and easier to transport than many traditional framed soft-light systems.  At 4ft x 4t it sizes between the square M22C Max (2ft x 2ft) and M88C Max (8ft x 8ft).

Pheon Lux fixtures are engineered for creating large-scale synchronized lighting environments where multiple fixtures can operate as a unified system. Advanced multi-pixel functionality allows users to generate preset or fully customized animated effects that extend across numerous fixtures simultaneously, creating coordinated movement, dynamic color transitions, environmental simulations, and large-scale lighting sequences for studio production, virtual production, live events, and cinematic effects work.

APPLICATIONS

The M44C Max is especially effective for primary key lighting, beauty lighting, portrait work, interviews, overhead fill, tabletop production, studio work, green screen environments, and medium-sized set lighting where larger soft coverage is required.

Passive cooling allows silent operation with no internal fixture fans, making the fixture suitable for interviews, narrative production, and sound-sensitive environments where fixtures may be placed close to talent.

The inflatable air-cushion design allows large-format fixtures to pack significantly smaller than traditional framed soft sources while maintaining broad soft-light characteristics and fast deployment.
