ABOUT THE MODIFICATION  - This is a ProCali custom modification replacing the factory V-mount by Gold mount featuring a female D-tap 15v DC receptacle. Thanks to the addition of the DC input connector, AC/DC adapters are optional. Warranty is not affected by this modification. 

The new dedolight "NEO" light set includes a DLED7N-BI 80w bicolor LED focusing light head, a DTneo+ wireless control ballast (Wifi LumenRadio, CRMX, Bluetooth operation), DBD8 barn door, DPLS light shield ring and a 4 ft head cable.

THE DLED7N-BI LIGHT HEAD

The DLED7N-BI bi-color light head is a perfect balance of output strength and control. This light is constantly consuming 80w of power from the DTneo+ ballast, alternating between two 80w diode sets composing the array. This means no matter what color diodes (tungsten or daylight) are on at any given time the light is always giving you what you've paid for; not 40w on one color and 40w on the other, but 80W on each. You might have experienced open-faced LED lights requiring the addition of reflectors to get a single pre-set beam angle and size. Dedolight LED focusing lights are completely different: out of the box the light has a manual focusing range of 60°- 6° (1:10 light ratio), like a camera zoom, without accessories.  Dedolight clean, precise and variable diameter beam give you complete control. If you know the DLED7 series well, the new dedolight NEO DLED7N has the same beam quality and output from its predecessor. The main difference with dedolight Neo is in the back casing which is modified to better contain light leaks. The head cable port is relocated to the bottom of the housing.  This redesign makes what was already a compact light head an incredible 30% shorter during operation. The DLED7N head fits the same accessories (M size) as the Classic 100/150W dedolight DLH4, DLHM4-300 and DLH200 200W HMI. 

THE DTNEO BALLAST

This is where the dedolight NEO series truly separates itself from its predecessor. Gone are the days when you had to choose between AC, DC or DMX ballasts. The DTneo, and DTneo+ (wireless option) offer all the functions you'd hope to have in a single ballast, and offer even more. Starting with DC operation (and optional AC adapting): this modified DTneo+ has a Gold mount plate with a D-tap chassis receptacle to use your own DC sources (belts, blocks etc) or AC/DC adapters. If you work with AC, we strongly recommend ProCali high performance AC/DC adapter (0CAPS15-105AB) that provides all the protections your ballast deserves. DMX is a standard feature to all Neo ballasts. Use the simple knob and OLED displayed menu to select between a deep, smooth "linear" or "exponential" dimming curve, or to seamlessly dim without color drifting even at the lowest output power (0.1 to 100% dimming range). Take advantage of 1000-point 8-bit linear, or 16-bit advanced control (via DMX/RDM protocol).  Select the High-Speed mode to shoot up to 50,000fps flicker-free. The DTneo ballasts have an auto-detect feature to recognize and drive all the upcoming DLEDNeo light heads between 20w-80w. That's not a typo. If you wish to invest for the future, the upcoming DLED3Neo unit, the DLED7Neo Infra-red, Ultra-Violet and even the future generations of DLED7Neo, the DTneo commands them all, up to the Neo DLED9. To put it simply, the DTNeo ballast opens the world to an entire new generation of light heads, and the DLED7N-BI leads the party.
