Prolycht Orion 675 FS and 300 FS open-face multi-color LED COB lights are ideally suited to create soft light. In our opinion, the soft light modifiers are essential assets to get the most out of the 300 FS and 675 FS systems. Specific to the 675 FS, Prolycht's "ProLock" reinforced Bowens mount has no play to allow the light to be accessorized with large soft-boxes. By the same virtue this reinforced Bowens mount can accommodate the weight of the new Dedolight Precision Optics.
This is the 36" Lantern with reinforced Bowens Mount. With a radial emission of 270 degrees this modifier intentionally doesn't have directional control. It outputs a very soft ambient or close-up light with barely perceptible shadows. The frame and mounts are built-in so that no speed-ring is necessary and no parts may get lost. It is collapsable to fit into the pouch and can be set up and ready on the light head in seconds. If you enjoy lighting from a "China Lantern" or "China Ball", the Orion 675 FS with its Lantern is a great choice. A regular directional 60" diameter Soft Box with grid is also available.
