ABOUT 

The dedolight 1200w HMI focusing light delivers a stunning beam replacing several fixed output fixtures in your arsenal. From a 56º flood down to an amazing 5º super-spot, this light has an impressive 1:18 light ratio. But if you drop in front the DLWA1200R Wide Angle attachment the focus range becomes 55º to 85º with a whopping 1:50 (YES 50) light ratio. These focusing lights can achieve natively what most lights can't get close to with multiple attachments. Dedolight HMI light heads use a double UV coating over the front aspheric lens which dramatically decreases an HMI's UV output. These UV number are 1/20 of competitors in the industry making them some of the safest HMI lights for continue use. From the largest of sets, to high-speed shoots, this light is the apex of dedolight focusing technology.

The light is powered by the DEB1200D-U, flicker-free electronic ballast with integrated DMX control and in-rush current controller.  If you would rather not use scrims on the head, the ballast dims down to 50%. The DEB1200D-U ballast is rainproof and rugged. You can switch the DLH1200D to 1000Hz for high-speed work. The same ballast also powers the DPB70. Surge protection, silent ventilation, low heat dissipation and short circuit protection keep your ballast trouble-free for years.
