ABOUT THE MODIFICATION - This is a ProCali custom modification replacing the factory V-mounts by Gold mounts featuring a female D-tap 15v DC receptacle. Thanks to the addition of the DC input, AC/DC adapters are optional. Warranty is not affected by this modification.
We're very excited to release this dedolight NEO DLED7N-BI three light set kit in a new offering we call the "Gaffer's" kit. This kit contains a perfect combination of lights and essential accessories packed in the lightest and smallest custom case available. We've included three complete DLED7N-BI 80w bi-color light sets with DTneo+ wireless Bluetooth / Wifi / LumenRadio CRMX enabled control ballasts. We've curated additional accessories like the famous DP1.2 imaging projector with very handy add-ons to take full advantage of the projector: Iris, Framing Leaves, the subtle DPEYESET edge softeners and more. The indispensable soft boxes with grids and baffles round-up the Gaffer's kit. This kit is budget conscious and trims out the stands and miscellaneous grip gear typically packed in classic "Master" dedolight kits. If you won't miss these grip items then this kit is for you. Of course the grip items and any accessory can be ordered "a la carte".

The dedolight NEO DLED7N-BI is a perfect balance of output power and control. Like its predecessor, the DLED7-BI, this light is constantly consuming 80w of power from the DTneo or DTneo+ ballast and alternating between two 80w diode sets (tungsten / daylight) in its array. This means no matter what color diodes are on at any given time the light is always giving you what you've paid for: not 40w on one color and 40w on the other, but 80w each. You might have worked with open-faced LED lights requiring the addition of a reflector to get a pre-set fixed beam angle. Dedolight LED focusing lights are not that. Out of the box the light has a manual focusing range of 60°- 6° (1:10 light ratio) without accessories. Think about zooming your light to any beam angle and size, very much like a camera lens. With this optical flexibility alone Dedolights are in a class of their own. If you know the DLED7 series well, the new dedolight NEO DLED7N has the same beam quality and output from its predecessor. The main difference is in the back casing redesign to block light leaks even better. The head cable port is relocated to the bottom of the housing. This makes what was already a compact light head an incredible 30% shorter in length. The DLED7N head fits the same accessories (M size) as the Classic 100/150W dedolight DLH4, DLHM4-300 and DLH200 200W HMI.
Double the output in CCT ranges, broader focusing range and better shadows when compared to a full spectrum light head.

This is where the dedolight NEO series truly separates itself from its predecessor. Gone are the days where you had to choose between an AC, DC or AC+ DMX ballast from the previous DLED series. The DTneo, and DTneo+ (wireless option) deliver all the functions you'd hope for in a single ballast, and much more. DMX is a standard feature on all DTNeo ballasts. As to powering options, the DTneo has a Gold mount socket with a female D-Tap chassis receptacle to use with any 15v Dc sources, including belts, blocks, and AC adapters. If you choose AC power, we strongly recommend ProCali High-performance 15v AC/DC power supply with all the protection your ballast deserves. Use the simple push/rotate knob and menu on the OLED display to select between a deep, smooth "linear" or "exponential" dimming curve, and seamlessly change color down in even the lowest range settings (0.1 to 100% dimming range). Take advantage of 1000 point 8-bit linear, or 16-bit advanced control (via DMX/RDM protocol). The High-speed setting to shoot flicker-free up to 50,000fps. The DTneo ballasts have an auto-detect feature to recognize and drive all the upcoming DLEDNeo light heads between 20w-80w. That's not a typo. If you wish to invest for the future, the upcoming DLED3Neo unit, the DLED7Neo Infra-red, Ultra-Violet and even the future generations of DLED7Neo, the DTneo commands them all, up to the Neo DLED9. To put it simply, the DTNeo ballast opens the world to an entire new generation of light heads, and the DLED7N-BI leads this advance.
With the "DTneo+" version of the ballast you are unlocking the wireless control via CRMX LumenRadio and Bluetooth.
