1/4 Grid Diffuser for 23S Fixtures

The optional 1/4 Grid Diffuser provides a subtle increase in softness for CineVeam 23S fixtures while maintaining most of the fixture’s original output and directional quality. It gently smooths shadow edges and softens highlights without significantly changing the clean, window-like character of the 2' x 3' source.

This lighter diffusion is especially useful for portrait lighting, interview lighting and commercial production when only a slight reduction in contrast is desired. The 1/4 Grid material preserves the rectangular catchlight and natural directional softness of the 23S fixture while producing smoother skin tones and a more refined overall look.

Typical light loss for a 1/4 grid diffusion material is approximately 0.25 to 0.5 stop, depending on fixture and setup.
