1/4 Grid Diffuser for 30R Fixtures

The optional 1/4 Grid Diffuser provides a subtle increase in softness for CineVeam 30R fixtures while maintaining most of the fixture’s original output and directional quality. It gently softens shadow edges and reduces specular highlights without significantly changing the overall character of the light.

This lighter diffusion is ideal for portrait lighting, interview lighting and beauty work where only a slight reduction in contrast is desired. The 1/4 Grid material preserves the punch and clean circular catchlight of the 30R format while adding a smoother, more flattering finish to skin tones and shadow transitions.

Typical light loss for a 1/4 grid diffusion material is approximately 0.25 to 0.5 stop, depending on fixture and setup.
