This dichroic filter is specifically designed for the DLH4 and DLHM4-300 Classic halogen dedolight heads. Drop it in the barn-door slot to convert the tungsten 3200K source to daylight (6000K, 1976 CRI 96)  and get more functionality out of your Classic.  Contrary to gels, this glass dichroic filter remains stable through years of use.  Dichroics achieve the highest light transfer (only 1 stop loss). Pair it with the smallest of the Parallel Beam Intensifier (DPBA-7) and get the punch back in a tight beam (only 15% intensity loss = 160fc @ 10ft).
