Brokeh FAK and FEK both use the same hues and similar "squeezing" designs.  Of course the FAK (Anamorphic) Brokeh pattern is the one providing the most "squeezing" effect.

The FAK series of Brokeh patterns solve several issues common in of digital cinematography: the lens distortion (adding weight to subjects) is reduced, the green color shift on dark skin tones is eliminated while the reds in fair skin are muted. Beyond these technical corrections, the FAK Brokeh impacts the aesthetics by rendering skin natural and softer, and by enhancing the facial lines, for all skin tones. Since Brokeh filters use common facial hues in their design, the more pigment in your subjects skin, the deeper the effects. 

The black and white photography (within the product photos) illustrates how the FAK pattern models the shape of the face in a more dramatic way. The face appears thinner than under the white light even though the lighting instrument was not moved between shots. Also the transitions from specular highlights to shadow areas are smoother.

Brokeh FEK and FAK both use the same hues and similar "squeezing" designs.  The FEK (Enhancement) Brokeh pattern is the one providing the least "squeezing" effect.

Brokeh filters are not simple warming gels -- they are patented geometric shapes that use dominant flesh hues to increase the modeling on faces. The side by side black and white photo (within the product photos) eliminates color bias. The facial shape and appearance are enhanced to achieve a more glamorous result.

Facial Enhancement Fill light - part of the "F-Series" product line (Facial Series)

This Brokeh pattern nicknamed "the olympic rings" is designed as a Fill light source and is very different from the Key patterns.  Notice that the pastel oranges are replaced by reds. The sizes, proportions and positions of the rings are the results of several years of research, and are patented. 

The incredible sensitivity of modern sensors can be both a blessing and a curse as very little goes un-captured. For example, it is often difficult to add light to nighttime scenes without the lighting feeling phony. The FEF pattern breaks up the light and makes it organic to the location.
