ABOUT

The Classic DLH4 is one of the most famous lighting devices ever made. With a 40 year history in the professional lighting industry, this light has proven time and again how far you can take precision lighting using aspheric optics. It's also a source of pride for many gaffers who take their personal "Dedos" on every shoot regardless of what's on the shot list. There still is no other system that can compare to its performance in its class. The optics allow for a completely homogenous clean beam, with a minimal amount of drop-off at its edge. There is light where you want it, and outside of the beam there is shadow where you want it.

Depending on your lamp and power supply, the DLH4 can operate using 12v, 24v or AC set ups. At Dedolight California we offer many power and dimmer solutions to control your DLH4.  The 12v power supplies like the DT12-4 allow for 20w, 50w, 75W, or 100w halogen lamps. A 24v power supply, like the DT24-U with built-in dimmer, allows to use a 24v 150w or 24v 100w lamps. The DT24-DMX provides DMX control in addition to the manual mode. The AC to DC 24v 150W power supply (0CAPS24-150) runs the DLH4 at full output upon to 150W.  Add dimming function to this power supply or to your existing 12v or 24v batteries with the in-line DLDIM-BAT.  Running a low-voltage system provides increase longevity and performance to your lamps. Using dedolights can get 400% more life out of your lamp. 

The light is nearly indestructible, easy to service, and has an army of amazing accessories to redefine its function from one job to the next. Wether you need a compact light with tremendous throw, or a pinhead spot on a label, the Dedo Classics delivers it all. If you haven't been lucky enough to get to know one of these lights yet, don't let the nickname "Classics" fool you. They can now be used with DMX ballasts and Lightstream Intensifiers. LIGHTSTREAM 

Lightstream reflectors, when used with dedolight focusing lights and "Parallel Beam Intensifier" lenses, offer a systematic approach to reflecting and redefining light. From a single source, its possible to create multiple light sources without adding to your power footprint. The light qualities are brilliant, offering hard and soft looks depending on the type reflector, and beam used as its host. The system is brought to life by using a light source with a strait, clean, parallel beam which "DPBA" lenses on dedolights produce. They warp the flood setting of the light back into a powerful strait spot, somewhere between 4° and 8°, depending on the light and lens used. These lenses can get you up to 550% MORE light output than the light can produce natively (DLED3-D with DPBA-610 Intensifier). With that new beam, you can use a #1 reflector to redirect it without major changes (think front-facing mirror, but with better results). Use a #2 Lightstream reflector to spread that host beam to a 12° spot. A #3 Lightstream reflector will shine a 50° flood, and the #4 Lightstream reflector offer a 90°, spread not unlike a standard bounce board. The creative, professional, economic and environmental possibilities are too large to list. "Lightstreaming" with Lightstream reflectors and Parallel Beam Intensifiers is simply a game changer. 

DPBA-714

This DPBA-714 Parallel Beam Intensifier increases light output up to 313% (DLH4). Simply used by sliding in at the light's accessory slot and adjusting to the flood position; the new beam generated by this lens can be from 4° - 8° spread angles, depending on light model used. This Intensifier can be used with the classic Dedo 150, the DLH4 and DLHM4-300, giving them an incredible new use. Parallel Beam Intensifiers, unique only to dedolight focusing lights, make using multiple Lightstream reflectors from one light source possible, as well as establishes a controlled virtual light source from the reflecting surface. "Lightstreaming" with Parallel Beam Intensifiers completely brings the reflectors to life in a systematic way with undeniably beautiful results. This tool provides a powerful new function your dedolight which nothing else can do on the market.
