Dedolight Graduated Scrims have an open end to ensure a flawless transition while smoothing out the intensity when lighting from an angle.

Scrims gone Hollywood:  Each country, community and crew have their own traditions.  In Hollywood, Gaffers have adopted a solution to be ready for any light change request: Plan for a light source with an output that well exceeds what the script calls for, and mechanically dim it with one or two Full Double scrims. If more intensity is required, one or both scrims are pulled out.  Scriming allows to reduce the output without changing the color temperature.  It is much easier than lamping down, faster than bringing in a more powerful fixture, much faster than correcting the color temperature after electrically dimming down. We are proud to offer the Hollywood Scrim Set with the two Full Double that many lighting crews work with in Los Angeles.
